I don't know what I am doing or why I am doing it. Maybe I'm blogging to document my crazy life so I can prove to my children why I am crazy-because of them. My Mom always says, "insanity is hereditary, you inherit it from your kids." That about how I feel these days.
Halloween is tomorrow, which is no longer one of my favorite holidays. Every year it's the last minute before we know what everyone is going to be. The kids always change their minds and want to be things I can't create in 1 hour. The worst offenders are Matthew & Tyler. So far this year we have: Cameron - Mickey Mouse, Jessie - Minnie Mouse, Jack - Batman, Tyler - nerd (as of last night), Matthew - zombie salesman (as of last night), Annie - we don't know if she's too cool to be anything this year. I bet when we take pictures on Halloween night there will be different costumes than these on at least 2 kids. I used to love Halloween.
Funny story - I asked Jack if he picked his dirty clothes up off my bathroom floor. He told me, "Yes, I put them in your hamster." I asked him if he put them in the hamster and he held his position. We (Annie & I) had a good laugh. Now our laundry hampers are all hamsters. We have lots of hamsters at our house, all full of dirty clothes.
So I hope that's how you blog. Hopefully I can keep the grandparents up to date on the kids, doing this. That would be a really good thing for me. Happy Halloween! (In case I don't blog for a while - I'd like to wish my Grams and my niece Abby a "Happy Birthday" on halloween! One of them is turning 5!)

Yeah!! So glad you've joined the blog generation. We enjoy the photos and news and what a wonderful family history. You will love it in years to come when you look back. How I wish we had the same when you were growing up. Oh the stories I would have written. I also think it's therapeutic to write it and then leave it sometimes. And other times you can go back and savor the victories. Love you dearly. Mom
